Situated in the servants’ quarters of a Georgian House, the Basement Gallery hosts 3 annual exhibitions – Spring, Summer and Christmas. On display is a variety of acclaimed artists’ work – including stunning sculptures, original prints and a beautiful selection of oils and watercolours. Coffee is served in the original kitchen where handmade Irish pottery is sold. Explore the rooms where servants worked 200 years ago and enjoy the wonderful paintings and pottery.

The Sliabh Beagh Way is a 25 mile linear walk starting at St Patrick’s Chair and Well in Co. Tyrone and finishing at Donagh in Southeast Fermanagh. There is an additional 31- loop walk throughout the Sliabh Beagh region ranging from 2.5 miles to 12 miles. The walks have a variety of surfaces from quiet country roads, forest paths and upland bogs and take the walker through areas rich in flora and fauna, striking scenery and geological interest. The Flying School is registered by the Civil Aviation Authority to carry out fixed wing flight training to the JAA/FCL standards. The School operates five days per week (Wednesday through to Sunday). A currency exchange is operated by all banks and the main Post Office in High Street, Enniskillen. Details regarding the location of banks, cash points etc are also available from the tourist office.
SHOPPING
Enniskillen town centre boasts a wide range of national retail outlets complemented by the more traditional family run businesses. The Railway Junction Retail Park and a large Dunnes Store is located in Forthill Street and the wooden footbridge (visible from tourist office) on Wellington Road gives pedestrian access to Erneside Shopping Centre (access also from the Derrychara Link Road). Browse for bargains at the street market every Thursday in Forthill Street.
General opening hours for the shops: Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30/6.00pm.(some shops have half day closing on Wednesdays). Dunnes and Erneside are also open on Sunday afternoons with late night shopping to 9pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
